Naida C. Castel guarantees its customers the possibility of cancelling their order at any time and at no cost, provided that the cancellation is communicated before the order has been made available to the carrier for shipment.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 44 of the Retail Trade Regulation Act, the buyer may return the goods within fourteen business days of receiving the goods in the same condition as they were delivered. The seller, for its part, will return the amount of the order to the buyer within a maximum period of 15 days from receipt of the returned merchandise according to the carrier's delivery note.

No order cancellations or returns of merchandise will be accepted outside the indicated periods.

Broken or damaged parts will not be accepted, as long as it is not the company's fault.

The return will not entail any penalty to the buyer but the buyer will have to bear the direct cost of returning the product.

If a product other than the one requested by the customer is delivered by mistake by Naida C. Castel, it will be withdrawn and the correct product will be delivered at no additional charge to the buyer.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR JEWELRY WITH CARE TO MAKE IT LAST AS LONG AS POSSIBLE

- Keep your jewelry in a safe, dry place when not wearing it. Do not store it in places such as the bathroom or other humid spaces, the pieces could stain and damage them.

- Avoid direct contact with water, chemicals such as soap, abrasive products and other cleaning products.

- Avoid impact with hard surfaces as much as possible.

- Chlorine, detergents, oils, moisturizers and perfumes can stain the pieces.

- Remove your jewelry to do housework.

- Do not wear jewelry in swimming pools, jacuzzis, saunas, in the shower or bathtub. Take special care with thermal baths as they can age metals because they contain sulfides and other metals.

- For special care, clean the pieces after use with a soft cloth.

- Gold plated pieces need special care; remove them to use hand cream, wash your hands with both soap and water or any function that involves using your hands with liquids or surfaces that scratch or can easily hit the piece.

- Although the plating is 3 microns, it can fade more easily if not cared for.

- Gold plated pieces should be re-plated when necessary.

The pieces tend to oxidize over time, it is a natural process, if you want to keep them clean you can follow the following steps:

Fill a container with warm water and mix it with a little dish detergent or baking soda to obtain soapy water. Immerse your gold or silver jewelry and let it soak for 30 minutes so that the dirt and rust come off. Afterwards you can scrub them with a small, soft brush, toothbrushes are usually very good for jewelry pieces. Immerse them once more and dry them with a soft cloth. Please note that if your jewellery has stones, for example, be careful when rubbing or consult a specific cleaning method for these.

If your piece is gold-plated silver, we recommend not rubbing it, simply soaking it in soap or baking soda and gently cleaning it with a damp cloth.

*Remember: Pieces of jewellery should be treated the same as clothes and shoes.

Just as these need to be washed, gathered and arranged etc. Jewellery too, since it is used directly in contact with the skin, should receive the same care as your most beloved garments.

Naida C. Castel jewelry is made with .925 Sterling Silver, 18kt, 9kt, 14kt and white gold.

Our pieces can have a shiny, matte or irregular surface finish. Remember that they can change over time due to use and contact with clothing, skin, products or some objects.

The treatments they receive such as plating, aging and others, can fade over time.

It is a natural process of the pieces and daily use or poor care of these can accelerate these changes.

You can always re-plate the pieces when they start to change.

The treatments we use are

18kt yellow gold plating

White rhodium plating

Black rhodium plating

Hand-aged silver

The gold plating is three microns thick. This thickness is added to the piece giving it thickness and more durability. It could last even a year but it depends on the care and regularity of use. In the case of rings, it is the type of piece that suffers the most friction and therefore wears out sooner than others.

Rhodium plating is used to bathe white gold. It is a very hard metal that protects the gold from oxidation. If white rhodium is used, the color is practically the same, and if black rhodium is used, the piece becomes completely dark.

Hand-antiquing silver is a process that blackens silver using a solution that accelerates the oxidation process. This does not last long, and it turns silver easily. This process has to happen, it is not a bad thing if the piece starts to change in a few days. It will not be accepted as a claim.

We normally use this treatment for pieces with very irregular surfaces to obtain semi-aged pieces. Through the rough surface, the parts that are not in contact with the skin remain dark for longer and this gives the piece an antique style that we like to use.
