PERIDOT CARE: Essential Recommendations
· Use with caution:
Peridot isn't a very hard gem, so it can be scratched or damaged with daily wear and exposure to chemicals. If you want to wear it daily, avoid wearing it while washing, cleaning, swimming, cooking, or exercising. We recommend removing it during these activities.

· Proper storage:
Store peridot separately, as it can scratch when in contact with harder gemstones. Use a soft cotton cloth or a velvet-padded box. Avoid heat; keep it in a cool, dry place.

·Avoid chemicals:
Perfumes, hairsprays, chlorine, and other chemicals can dull peridot's shine and damage both the stone and the metal. Apply perfume and makeup before wearing jewelry. If they come into contact with the stone, gently wipe it with a dry cloth.

· Recommended cleaning:
Do not use ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Wash with warm water and mild soap, and dry with a microfiber cloth. Take your jewelry to a jeweler at least twice a year for professional cleaning and inspection.
